Outreach at Prospect
The Prospect Outreach Committee meets on a monthly basis to organize the outreach plan and activities for Prospect United Methodist Church.
The following are some of the ways Prospect reaches out beyond our church:
- Church World Service
- Covenant to Care
- Adopt a social worker program with DCYS.
- Bi-annual lunchean for the homebound.
- Cheer Committee - Cards , etc... to the homebound.
- Disaster Relief
- Prospect's Food Pantry
- Steward's Fund - Emergency needs for families with children
- Meals for the needy - First Wednesday of the month and every other month on the second Wednesday evening.
- Use of the Outreach Table in Session's Hall
- Homebound Ministry
- Distribution of flowers from worship services, Easter plants and Christmas poinsettias to the homebound members and friends.
